I spend my days educating students in a rural, public high school and my nights and weekends with the most beautiful almost-six year old princess and her two adorable but impish two and a half identical twin sisters and our surprise number four. Needless to say, there is little time left for me! I am AWED by them.

Many days I feel blessed by the presence of those around me. My students are AMAZING human beings. It is my privilege to lead them, or to be led by them. They have their issues what teen doesn’t– but through it all, they come back swinging. They are resilient. They are compassionate. They are strong. I am AWED by them. And this revelation all started at prom.
