We also labeled the three types of volcanoes (shield, cinder cone, and composite). The shield volcano is wide and flat, and the cinder cone is more of a “traditional” volcano. This is my first year in this district, but I have been teaching for nearly 5 years now. I spent 2 years teaching 7th, 9th and 12th grade science in Le Mars, IA.
