Smelling the roses despite the thorns. June 1, 2014. Here I am less than 6 months after and I am okay. Yes there are moments when the grief is raw and the pain is deeper than any I have ever felt, but there are also moments and days when I feel peace and hope. Everyone deals with loss and grief differently but I am pleased that the moments of despair are getting further apart and the feelings of hopefulness more bountiful. Hello again… →.
