Mrs Dermody's Faith, Family, and Stories. Monday, April 16, 2012. It was just last year when Hazzard our 16 year-old cat died in my arms. Last week thirteen year-old Emilio stopped eating. I took him to West Seattle Animal Hospita. It's hard to say good-bye to an old pet. They live such short lives compared to ours. The time from kittenhood or puppyhood to old-age is so short but it is so wonderful. I would not forgo the joy to forgo the sorrow. Love is worth it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
