February 19, 2016. We did a full day today! We started with a coffee at about life coffee. Such a cute place – brilliant coffee and friendly baristas. After coffee we strolled the streets and stumbled across an amazing french patisserie. Fresh crossiants warm from the oven went down a treat. February 19, 2016. After a slower start, we headed to the Japanese Sword Museum – no photos allowed. I waited in the foyer as this museum didn’t interest me much. When then headed to Cat street – a really cute street filled with shops and eateries:. The things you see. We popped into The Roastery by Nozy Coffee for and quick coffee and donut which was amazing! Possibly one of our best coffees. We had booked Black High Tea at Aman Tokyo and was it ever a treat! Tomorrow we’re off to the snow.

CORTINA – HAKUBA. February 27, 2016. We stayed at Cortina Apartments for 6 nights. Cortina is in the Hukuba area and has loads of ski resorts. Our apartments were luxe and spacious and our host Jason was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Cortina Apartments to anyone traveling to Hukuba. We spent the days snowboarding (them) and learning/trying to ski (me). Note: Aaron is a better ski teacher than the actual ski instructors even though he’s never skied! View from the top.
