I was very tempted to see if I could sneak this little blog post in and pretend like it hasn't been, oh, about 912 days since my last post. BUT - I'm guessing that you've already noticed. Annnnnd, judging by the number of dwindling posts on my blogger reading list, I'd be willing to bet that I'm not the only one who has about 3 inches of virtual dust piling up on top of their own little blog. I just heard a chorus of groaning, 'OH nooooooo. One more thing I forgot to dust! Well then, you are off the hook.

We are now approaching 39 weeks, and as much as i'd like to have this baby already. i am glad he is waiting, for now. i haven't been feeling well for a couple weeks and am just praying healing comes soon (anyone who wants to join me in this prayer is more than welcome! We had a fun family adventure last weekend. The weather had finally cooled off a bit, enough to leave the windows open for a few days (thank you. And i had never been so excited about clouds before! We woke up on saturday, had a nice. Pancake breakfast with strawberries and whipped cream (jake makes the BEST pancakes), and. The Lord watches over. Eden and I were in a car accident last week. We came to a stop parallel to the road, facing the opposite direction. It was completely silent. One glance in the rearview mirror told me that Eden was fine, and I thanked God on high for His protection. She didn't even cry. I don't know how long I sat there, thanking God and trying to figure out what just happened. It was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced. My mind was blank. I had no idea what to do.
