Thursday, April 24, 2014. April 24, 2014: Titus is 7 months old. Wearing 9 month clothes. First trip to California to visit Aunty Karen, Uncle Brian, and cousins (also first airplane trip with just mommy! Sometimes sleeping through the night but more often waking up 1-2 times. Trying lots of new foods. So far he's eating most things except still not a fan of bananas or avacado. Likes olives, steak, eggs, kale, green beans, peas, carrots, etc. Loves any time he gets a little taste of sugar!

We bought our little 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house two summers ago with dreams to add on a master bedroom and bathroom. It took a while to get going on the project (partly because of the headache it is to get permits to do everything! But now we are going at it in full force and its all coming together. Saturday, January 17, 2015. This last week we went to the beautiful island of Kauai. Hawaii's most northern island. It was my first time to Hawaii and it was everything I hoped it would be. Warm, beautiful, with fresh fruit and friendly locals. We spent the week with my in-laws celebrating a big birthday for my father-in-law. Flew to Santa Fe to visit Grandma and Grandpa Sobel on the day he turned 3 months. Learning to interact with toys more and to be more content just hanging out. Sleeping 4-6 hour chunks at night. Friday, August 23, 2013. Third Time's a Charm. I know I'm blessed to have had three baby showers for this little guy, and truly the third one was charming. Talitha with help from her sisters, mom, and Rhaquel and Kaylee too, I think (who drove 2 hours to be here! The food included berries and cream and fondue both chocolate and cheese. YUM! Some of my sweet and beautiful guests:. Mrs Mack read a short chapter of encouragement to remind me that not everything has to be perfect in my house once baby is here.

Monday, March 24, 2014. March 24, 2014: Titus is 6 months old today. Weighs in at 15lb. 4oz. and is 26.5" long. Still in the tall and skinny category. Wearing 9 month clothes. Favorite new food: Sweet Potatoes. Adding in new foods: loving some bites of scrambled eggs in the morning. People always comment on his red mohawk and his smiles. January 24, 2014: Titus is 4 months old today. Weighs in at 13 lb. 3 oz., 25" long = Tall and Skinny boy. Sleeps from 10:30 to 4:30 on most nights and after eating continues to sleep until 7 and then 9. Experienced First Snow. Wasn't that impressed but maybe next year. Laughing and smiling more and more. Monday, February 24, 2014. February 24, 2014: Titus is 5 months old today. He is rolling all over the place. He is wearing 6 month clothes. He loves to laugh and smile and interact with people. Definitely a social kid. The Johnny-Jump Up is his favorite. He has discovered a couple "new" things. His feet and his dog Wolfie. We're working on the screaming he's added to the naptime routine.
