Every Friday I will randomly pick one student to be the “Star of the Week” they will get to take home the special “star of the week” poster and decorate it and bring it back to school the following Monday. We will share the poster to the class! The star of the week also gets to put a special “Star of the Week” chair cover on their chair for the week and they might even get some special prizes! That is a way for the teacher to assess and scaffold each childs writing.
