Thursday, October 11, 2007. Colorado Outward Bound Relay 2007. 3 Mountain Passes, 24 Hours, 170 Miles. It was time to turn crazy, and run 17.4 miles of the 170 Colorado Outward Bound Relay. My roommate and friend Greta and I were on a team of 10 people, with 2 drivers and 2 volunteers that went over 3 mountain passes from Idaho Springs, CO to Glenwood Springs, CO ( my home town). Greta gearing up for her first run. At 7 to early in the morning. The exchange from Steve to Greta. The altitude was killing me.

And La Vida Loca. Tuesday, June 2. A Big Phat DNF. Last Sunday was yet another mountain bike race. It was a sweet course and reminded me a lot of riding the Ned trails. But I just didn't have it in me. My lower back was killing me, it was pouring rain, and I am a whimp. So I pulled out after 2 of 3 laps. Oh well, you win some, you lose some and you don't finish others. But I did sport my new socks Micki gave me while she was visiting me from Boulder. I was representin' big time! Dreams Do Come True.
