Tuesday, September 30, 2014. The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The book "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer is the second novel in the Twilight series. This book continues the relationship of Edward and Bella. However, when Edward leaves Forks she seeks comfort from a friend named Jacob. Throughout the novel, Edward and Jacob symbolize her emotions because she feels worthless and numb but she also seeks happiness. Edward is the reason Bella starts to change in this book.
