Today, our K-4 students are making their annual walk to the local food bank to drop off donated canned and boxed items. For a few weeks prior to the walk, teachers, office staff, and administrators invite students and their families to make a donation. Classes hold a friendly competition to encourage donations. I saw one parent drop off 30 canned items this morning for her child’s class to donate.
