Sunday, January 31, 2010. This is a picture of where my dads remains will be inurned at Fort Rosecrans. In San Diego, "a home for heros." He served in the Army as an MP and will be given a full military burial ceremony on Thursday. It will be a ceremony for family and close friends only, followed by a reception at my sisters house. Monday, February 15, 2010. The storms have passed. There wasn't a single morning that I didn't ask God to help me get through just one more day. I just continued to do what I have been taught in Alcoholics Anonymous. I took more commitments. I went to more meetings. I shared with others what I was thinking. I stayed accountable (most of the time). And when I was about ready to give up, I shared in a meeting that I needed help. Speaking of storms passing.it was almost 8☼ here today! It was the right move.
