Class of Ms. Mary. Monday, April 13, 2009. The Student and Me. Today I met the student I will be working with at CCMS. He is a first grader who loves to play the cello. He is very fluent in spanish so I know that our voice thread is going to be great. He said that his mom used the computer alot, so he knows how to do it. I let him create his own userid and password. We opened a google account, which he said was neat. We also opened a blogger account which he titled; Letter Sounds in Spanish.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Our first meeting went very well. My assigned parent and student welcomed me into their beautiful home and also asked me to join them for dinner. They made homemade pizza with salad and it was so welcoming! After we ate they also made "Rice Krispies" treats which were delicous! For volcanoes. We filled out what my student knows about volcanoes and a few things she would like to know. We put that away for later time when we could fill out what we have learned about volcanoes.
