Henshall Happenings: January 2011
http://henshallfamily.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Happy 4 Months Miss Hadley! Our little angel is four months old and the last week has been so fun! She smiles constantly and is getting quite a personality. She is so strong and very determined to grab whatever is in her reach. If it's not in her reach, then she grunts and fusses like it is the end of the world. This makes us laugh! Today, we had her 4 month check-up! She weighted 13 lbs. 10 ounces and is 23 3/4" long! She is a perfect little girl who is the 50% in both! I have tons of videos that I need...

Love Will Keep Us: Thankful
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2011/11/thankful.html
Tuesday, November 15, 2011. So everyone on Facebook has been posting something that they are thankful for every day. It really makes you think each day as you read what others are thankful for, what you are thankful for. Then I got Hayes this precious plate at Tulips. And decided that I would try to talk with him about what we have that we are "happy" that we have. His Daddy (who now is the only one allowed to bathe him and read books to him.really makes mommy sad! Snuggling in bed in the mornings. All m...

Love Will Keep Us: Tree Skirt Tradition
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2011/12/tree-skirt-tradition.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. I know I posted about this last year, but I absolutely love this tradition in our family! My assistant principal told me about this when I was pregnant with Hayes, so I can't take any credit for it! Every year at Christmas you put your child's hand and foot print on your Christmas tree skirt. It is such a fun and meaningful tradition that we do every year while getting out all the Christmas decorations and very neat to see how much Hayes has grown each year. I hope you stop by ...

Love Will Keep Us: Megatron, the Bad Guy
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2011/10/megatron-bad-guy.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. Megatron, the Bad Guy. For Halloween Hayes wanted to be Megatron. Not the good guys, Bumble Bee or Optimus Prime, but the bad guy (and those were his words). So I went with it! Please remember last year, he wouldn't even wear the Thomas the Train costume, so I was crossing my fingers that he would even wear it! He did (minus the mask.but I'll take it! No Hayes, the trick or treat bag doesn't go around your neck. Let's try it again! They began playing what else, football! Subscri...

Love Will Keep Us: December 2010
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. Christmas at Nei Nei and Poppy's. After we left our house we headed over to Ryan's parents to open presents there. With 3 kids, 2 wives, a grandson, a mimi, and Nei Nei and Poppy; the room looked like a wrapping paper bomb exploded after it was all said and done! By this time, Hayes had opening presents down! A Handy Manny Talking Tool Box! If you have not seen this, it is absolutely precious! The tools bounce up and down and sing the Handy Manny song! For the Grand Finale.

Love Will Keep Us: July 2011
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. We took Hayes to see Cars 2 (since he watches Cars daily we figured he would really love Cars 2)! After the movie came out all you can find in stores are Cars 2 toys! Please notice his watches on both wrists! He had to wear Mommy's watches! This watch craze lasted a few days! One, two, three, GO! Daddy rolls his car and Hayes rolls his and the goal is for them to meet in the middle and CRASH! Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Translation: it's a booger! This is the term that the swim instr...

Love Will Keep Us: November 2010
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree! I absolutely LOVE getting out all the ornaments and hanging them on the tree! I always reminisce about each ornament (we always get an ornament at every vacation we take or major milestone! He has really been getting into saying the beginning letter of his name and pointing to all letters and saying, "H! So, when he got to hang the H ornament, he was pretty excited about that! The tree is beautiful and I love it! Saturday, November 27, 2010.

T-Town, Big Crib and Babysitter. All in One Week! The past week was full of "firsts" for Hadley. She made her first trip east on the Turner Turnpike to spend a few days in T-Town. I was a little nervous about making the 1 hour and 45 minute drive alone, but my strategy worked great! Fill her up and hit the road! Lilly was so excited to meet her future Chi-O sister! Hadley was sad to leave! Great Grandma Norma quickly remembered how to hold a little one! Hadley loved Aunt Barbara! I think I like it! Happy...

Love Will Keep Us: September 2011
http://thevenkfamily.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 18, 2011. Well, getting dressed for church is always fun around our house. I use the term fun very loosely! It has taken me a month to get to the point where Hayes will put on a collared shirt without a fuss. He actually listened to reason about when we go to church we have to wear nicer clothes and when we are home we can wear "home clothes". So, for church this week I busted out the khaki pants. (Remember, getting on a collared shirt is no biggie now! Thursday, September 8, 2011.

Henshall Happenings: February 2011
http://henshallfamily.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Our lil' angel is allergic to cow's milk! The Enfamil Lipil states boldly on the label that it contains cow's milk. That was the culprit for the ER visit! So, going forward, Hadley can only have soy products, no dairy. Daddy loves cheese. No cheese for Hadley! Mommy loves ice cream. No ice cream for Hadley! The good news is that 60% of kiddos outgrow a milk allergy. So, we are praying that God will touch her lil' body and make this allergy go away. H is a control. A3 is cow's milk. D22 is soybean. Welcom...
