Monday, December 29, 2014. When God Closes a Door, Look for the Other Door. Why do we who serve in ministry act like God is somehow against us when He closes one or two, or a few doors? As if God does not want us to grow. God all of His Great Commission oriented ministries to grow as He sees fit. You may lead a "mega" ministry are a smaller ministry, just make sure you are leading a growing ministry as directed by the Holy Spirit versus a competition with others driven ministry. Christians, I trust you d...

Pastor's Blog: May 2015

Saturday, May 30, 2015. What is God Saying to You about church? So much is competing with church today. Or do Christians need to hear from God and realign our priorities? Look at Heb. 10:24-25:. And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,. Not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Are we too quick to drop church for some non-work activity, or physical sickness?

Thursday, November 27, 2014. Do Something to Show How Thankful You Really Are. Celebrating Thanksgiving moves a Christian beyond eating good food, or sitting around to be served, or looking around to see whose thanksgiving dinner we can crash and get free food. For instance, today Christian's can see the hurting, angry, and frustrated people in Ferguson, Missouri. After the opportunist destroy all they can, where will the Seniors and other community members go to get food and services? Christians today c...

Pastor's Blog: Persist in Your Faith in Christ
http://pastorkennedymzo.blogspot.com/2015/08/persist-in-your-faith-in-christ.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Persist in Your Faith in Christ. As I enjoy reading through the book of Acts, I am reminded afresh to be persistent in my faith in Christ. When people welcome us and our life as a Christian, and the message that goes with our life, rejoice. When people criticize us and even persecute us for our life as Christians, rejoice. Look at what the Apostles did after their second arrest, and second order to stop preaching about The Risen Christ, and after being flogged (beaten with a whip):.

Saturday, August 29, 2015. Do Something Spiritually Rewarding. Do something spiritually rewarding this weekend. Ask God to bring to mind someone who is not in church right now (God might bring a wounded Christian to mind or a non-Christian, etc.). Make contact with the person(s) and encourage them to be your special guest. Arrange to pick them up, or meet them prior to church and thank them for keeping their word and coming. If you need a place to worship and service times go to Mtzionontario.com. When w...

Tuesday, September 30, 2014. A death in the family, car problems, relationship problems, job problems, financial problems, health problems, etc., all make up storms in life. Some storms are more severe than others, but every storm knocks us off balance. Jesus is the Christians source to successfully navigate through the storms in life. In Matthew 8:23-27, the disciples were in a boat with Jesus, and a big storm arose on the sea. Although the disciples panicked, they knew where to get help. We retreated t...

Pastor's Blog: January 2015
http://pastorkennedymzo.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Look at what Jesus said in Matt 6:9:. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Christians, with all the hatred and chaos spread around the world, we need to intentionally reflect the characteristics of our Father in heaven. Throughout the day we have several opportunities to defuse tension and arguing just by the way we answer people. For instance in Prov. 15:1:. A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. The one federal employe...
