When the course of the Caloosahatche River was altered in the 1950s, workers had to put all that muddy land somewhere, so they piled it on the northern bank of the river in East Lee County. Florida Mud Cutters - Night Riding

The Mudcutters ride most Thursday nights in the winter, fall and spring. A few riders arrive at 3:30 but most riders usually start showing up around 5:00 pm with the main group leaving at 6:30 pm sharp. We are usually at the park until about 8:00pm. Please Note: When the trail is flooded or in poor condition there may not be any riders on Thursday night. Check the home page for trail conditions. Thursday night ride requirements.
