Not Far From the Madding Crowd. Sunday, 17 May 2015. A little snapshot of what life is like in our house if the Coco Pops run out:. It doesn't make for a great start to the day. And no, Rice Krispies with cocoa sprinkled on top does not make an effective substitute. Note to self: Keep all breakfast cereal topped up. Currently reading: Chop Chop. How to survive your childrens' childhood: New Year. Same Old Me.
http://survivingyourchildrenschildhood.blogspot.com/2013/01/new-year-same-old-me.html
Tuesday, 1 January 2013. New Year. Same Old Me. 2012 was shit. There were a few good moments but it feels like the whole year was tainted by the wait over Phoebe's Autism. But now that is done I feel we can move forward as a family. Mostly I am looking forward to seeing both my girls develop and learn. They amaze me every day and I am an unashamedly proud mother. I am sure they will continue to do so. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sponsor my insane marathon running husband for The Neuro Society!

Radical perspectives on breastfeeding. Laquo; Latest Clare Byam-Cook Scandal. Out of the mouths of babes…. A drink of water? 8211; he looked at me, stopped whining and said, “no, I want mok” (his word for breastfeeding). I said, “oh, sure, no problem” (and mentally slapped myself for not having offered sooner, but he hadn’t looked like he was in the mood). As he clambered happily into my lap, he explained to me, “I’m sad, and it makes me feel better”. Does nursing my 2 and a half year old son benefit me?

Tuesday, 5 July 2011. I had an awesome weekend, hope you did too! This weekend I saw my oldest mate get hitched to his lovely lovely new wife! I was asked if I would do the photography for them so I got prime location for piccy taking too (of which I now have approximately 380 photos to work through.). Here is a sneaky pic of one that just shows how delighted they are to be married and how in love too. I really truly couldn't be happier for them! You did a fab job! And its so thoughful. See it is easy.

How to survive your childrens' childhood: BAM.... well, actually it would be more accurate to say SLAM.
http://survivingyourchildrenschildhood.blogspot.com/2012/09/bam-well-actually-it-would-be-more.html
Saturday, 29 September 2012. BAM well, actually it would be more accurate to say SLAM. Now I am not a wuss, I have had 2 children with minimum of pain relief and can cope with stubbing a toe without requiring copious amounts of swearing. But I screamed. loudly. Probably not helped by Clara's one and only comment on the situation of:. You shouldn't have done that Mummy.". No shit sherlock. I think that wins the prize for understatement!
