17th February 2007, Dunkeld, Perthshire. We had fantastic weather for our Dunkeld meeting, with bright sunshine and enough warmth to enjoy a leisurely picnic at Mill Dam, before tackling Deuchary Hill and getting the view over to Loch Ordie. We also found some scraps of snow, which greatly excited the southern members of the group, since it was all they have seen of it this winter! Tea at the Atholl Arms in Dunkeld was pretty good, and the scones with cream and strawberries were wicked.

16th February 2013, Roslin Glen, Midlothian. A chance to explore Roslin Glen Country Park, with its natural and historical interest. This event was our best attended ever, so thanks for a great turnout for the walk and even greater for tea. However it was also a case of the best-laid plans going agley, since we showed up to find a well-weathered sign telling us the path was closed, even though Midlothian Ranger Service are still promoting it online and in the local libraries. 18th February 2012, Comrie, Perthshire. An easy walk to a dramatic gorge and waterfall on the River Lednock, followed by a short steep climb to Lord Melville's monument. The walk is on OS map 51. Towards the western end of Comrie, there is a car park just off the main road (Dundas Street) on School Road (this is between the two right-angled bends on the main road). The walk is signposted from here as the Glen Lednock circular. It's not a long walk, so let's meet at 12 and aim to be walking by 12.30pm.

3rd November, Fife Coastal Path, Pittenweem. A varied coastal route in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife, on OS sheet 59. Some of us met by the harbour in Pittenweem, and set off from there, eventually catching up with the others who started in Anstruther. We all made it to Crail which was looking very pretty in the sunshine, and then we just had to get cars and people all gathered in Anstruther for tea! Hourly back to Pittenweem.
