March 27, 2012. Kinley turned 7 months in February and was quite busy. She learned better balance while sitting up, got her two lower teeth, and started rolling with a purpose. We're enjoying the fact that she's still contained to one area. Pretty soon she'll be getting into Gavin's toys and I'll be breaking up fights. :). Here's some "Kinnie-bean" cuteness. February 27, 2012. Since this blog is hopelessly backed up, I'm combining Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years into one post. We had a great time celebrating the holidays this year, and we had lots to be thankful for! Including healthy happy kids,. August 27, 2011. And now, I can finally do an update on our latest excitement. Kinley Reese McLaughlin joined our family on July 20th! She was delivered by c-section at 6:10pm, weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 19 inches long. Our plan was to have labor induced on the 21st, but little Kinley decided to get things going on her own. It's been almost 6 weeks now, but things are still pretty fresh in my mind, so I wanted to document it. And we are all so in love with her. The end! Our family of four!

April 20, 2011. Our baby boy is growing up! This particular episode of Blue's Clues was about a box that can be anything you want it to be if you use your imagination. Gavin insisted on watching it from inside a box. :). Playing drums in the Africa exhibit at the zoo. Perhaps the most awesome part of the zoo: the safari jeep. Gavin and his neighbor friends, Dylan and Olivia, could've played in this for hours. We actually had a day where it didn't rain in March, so here is a shot of Gavin outdoors.

January 31, 2011. This cute little thumbsucker will be joining our family in late July! We'll be finding out if "Emby #2" is a boy or a girl in about a month. Stay tuned! January 15, 2011. Gavin sings AND plays guitar! We got a new camera for Christmas and captured a great performance of the ABC's and Twinkle Twinkle from Gavin that morning. Sorry it's a little grainy, but I think his talent still comes through pretty well. :). Catching up on Christmas. Gavin helping us hang ornaments. Mom in her element.

September 17, 2011. Still happy (notice he's holding Gramma's keys). Even though there was the usual chaos with 4 kids under the age of 3, a cake mishap, and an annoying swarm of bees hovering around our food (one of which stung my mom on the tongue! It was great to spend time with everyone. Gavin enjoyed getting all the attention and getting presents, but most of all, he enjoyed playing with Gramma's keys and sitting in her car for a 1/2 hour pushing all the buttons. Surprise! Still clutching the keys.
