This is my blog of my pottery business. I make cone 6 electric pottery, raku, horsehair and pitfire. Sunday, October 21, 2007. Raku and Horsehair Firing of 10/13/2007. I spent Saturday morning doing some more raku and horsehair firing. It was a beautiful morning and unlike the last time the temperature was a whole lot better and only got into the middle 80's rather than than the 100's. I absolutely love the horse hair firings. How did you aquire the raku kiln? Did you make it? I agree, its beautiful!

This is my blog of my pottery business. I make cone 6 electric pottery, raku, horsehair and pitfire. Monday, June 26, 2006. I did 4 horse hair firings this past Saturday. I started the kiln up at 7:00 and was through by 10:30 and managed to beat this 90 degrees heat we have had here lately. I fired 8 pots and 6 of them came out real good. The other 2 had cracks so they were discarded. I have placed pictures of two of them with this post. Links to this post. Wednesday, June 07, 2006. Links to this post.
