Minehead is a great base for exploring the wonderful West Country. The beautiful landscape of Exmoor National Park is right on the doorstep as well as the picturesque medieval village of Dunster, with its marvellous castle. Further afield are the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth with the fantastic cliff railway and a great place to spend the day. Minehead is also the start (or finish! Of the 630 mile South West Coastal Path which will take you all the way to Poole, Dorset.
