Turquoise and teak - the perfect combo. Well my teak chair update. Found a happy home. It's long gone and now it's time to move on to other furniture updates. It was great to see it go from drab to fab. Plus I realized I have this 'thing' for turquoise and teak. They just go together so well! It all started with my thrift store bowl updates. Then it grew into painting other thrift store finds. I'm addicted to wood with bright colour accents. And then I painted a pair of thrift store wooden salad spoons.

Crafting with 'Crap' class two how to. Had another awesome evening with my Crafting with 'Crap'. Peeps at Quest University Canada. We made jewelry and more out of old wool sweaters. Such a super fun group - we chatted, we laughed, we hugged it out and crafted up a storm! Here's class 2's how to. Next up is class 3 - how to make an organizer out of salvaged wood. And make swanky floral brooches out of 'junk'! Posted by Thrifty By Design. 0 Write a Comment. Labels: crafting with crap. 0 Write a Comment.
