Muriwai Arts Trail 2 - 10 May 2015 Exhibition and Open Studio Event. Open Studio – Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May , 261 School Road, 10am – 5pm. Born in 1965 in Auckland, and of Pakeha and Nga Puhi (Ngati Manu, Te Mahurehure) descent, Todd is a fulltime ceramic artist living and working at Muriwai Beach. Primarily self-taught, Todd’s work is recognised for utilising a broad range of ceramic techniques and surface treatments as well as combining materials such as clay, wood, lashing and LED lighting.

A stitch in time. Some of my time is in stitches. Today some slightly different stitching on a big communal project. Off to the Henderson RSA with a old friend to work on the 5000 Poppies project. We stitched hundreds of knitted, stitched, crocheted red poppies onto a three-metre banner which will be part of several WW100 exhibitions and commemorative events over the next year.
