He has made everything BEAUTIFUL in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11. Thursday, January 30, 2014. We are at a difficult place in our adoption of Lennox at the moment. I understand that I must sound like a broken record. But it truly does help to write these thoughts and feelings out. So bear with me. To be in that place. We don't have a clear cut answer as to why we were "skipped", although there have been several possible explanations, but we do know that we aren't the first family to get left behind on a s...

He has made everything BEAUTIFUL in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11. Saturday, July 25, 2015. Ozark Mountain Vacation Day 1. Trying to get back in swing of things. I've definitely missed blogging this past year! Mom and I decided to take the kids on one last little hoorah before we start getting in back-to-school mode again. Early Tuesday morning, we loaded up and headed out for Mountain View! Brody loved that our cabin actually had jail keys! We shared a yummy brownie sundae.with 6 spoons! Me and Noni :).

He has made everything BEAUTIFUL in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11. Sunday, October 5, 2014. Our time in Korea with Lennox. We only had two full days in Korea with Lennox (Friday and Saturday). We were originally scheduled to fly home the next. Thursday, but because we got his visa and everything completed very quickly, we had our flights changed to Sunday. He seemed happiest when we were out and about strolling through the city. Looking back, maybe he was happiest then because he thought we were going...

Two and Lu: December 2014

Monday, December 29, 2014. Christmas Eve at our house. Christmas Eve at our house is always a fun time. We usually have an assortment of appetizers in place of a real dinner. Someone (I won't say who) ate their body weight in spicy chicken wings. :). Every year the kids are allowed to open one gift. This gift is their Christmas PJ's. I'm happy the kids are liking the traditions I have set up for them. These aren't the greatest quality of photos. Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Thursday, December 18, 2014.

Sunday, November 9, 2014. A little photo fun. I finished up 4 senior sessions last month and I'm currently finishing up a family session. It's been great to be busy, but I'm ready for a breather. I still need to finish up our France photos and I've begun working on my photography website. I took Lucy out yesterday morning to get some photos in the fog. Lucy wanted to wear her Halloween costume. She was Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ordinary Miracles and The Crazy 9.

He has made everything BEAUTIFUL in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11. Thursday, May 29, 2014. The joy of EP approval! We are so stinkin' happy to share with everyone that we have EP approval! We are so excited! When we were submitted for EP back in February, we were told this could take 60-90 days. Today was day 98. To say we were getting antsy is an understatement. I started shaking immediately.knowing what this call could mean. Your EP has been issued! This week marks exactly two years since we started thi...

3 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed: 9 months ago today....
http://threelittlemonkeysjumping.blogspot.com/2013/02/9-months-ago-today.html
3 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. Sunday, February 17, 2013. 9 months ago today. We arrived at SWS and walked in with our two new friends. I asked if I was the only one who felt like I was going to throw up (I wasn't). I had met this special boy and knew that he didn't really have any desire to see us again, let alone leave with us. How could I do this? How could I take him from his foster family's arms and walk out the door (after the longest elevator ride of our lives)? We have a relationship! Danie...

Lilypie Third Birthday tickers. Friday, January 30, 2015. Curran at 5 and a Half Years Old. I am interrupting my holiday catch up to give a biannual update on my CurryBug. It's hard to believe she is over halfway through with kindergarten and only 6 months away from turning six! Ignore the too big ballet slippers on SC. I lost that battle.}. Hopefully I'll blog about that before too long. She is going to try softball this Spring, and I am really looking forward to that! They have been sleeping together i...

Monday, February 23, 2015. These days are so busy that I often don't post day to day happenings. I realized I haven't posted much about Olivia and what she's been up to. I never thought I would love the teen years. I dreaded the thought, but. I have to admit, I really do love this time. Teenagers are funny. Olivia and her friends just crack me up. Here's just a few fun things going on. I realized I never posted here on the blog about Olivia's car. We surprised Olivia with a car just before Christmas.

Lilypie Third Birthday tickers. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Better late than never! Curran has been talking about being Elsa for months. She borrowed Sinclair's wig and was convinced that people would think she was the real Elsa. :). We got to the Heys, and the girls had fun jumping before the other guests arrived. This was the first year that C ran off with her group of friends ahead of the grown ups. She had so much fun! This little bit had fun too! Posted by Mary Louis Quinn. Links to this post.
