It had experienced considerable damage due to adverse weather conditions over the last few winters. This prompted Youghal Town Council to appoint Conservation Engineers and Architects David Kelly Partnership, to assess the integrity of the wall in order to minimise damage to the historic structure. 700m wall both sides.
