As many of my friends may know, in addition to my finance background following the satellite industry as both a sell-side analyst and investment banker, I have been a serious mountain climber for several years. I am currently taking time off from my career to complete my ascent of the 7 Summits the highest peak on each of the seven continents.

Armand's Climbing and Adventures. 425 East 86th Street. Cho Oyu (did not summit). In Fall of 2007 I attempted to climb Tibet’s Cho Oyu (26,906ft – 8,201m). Although it is not one of the seven summits, Cho Oyu is the world’s sixth highest peak. The weather was poor and we were forced to turn around at Camp 2 at approximately 23,000 feet. Spending six weeks in rural Tibet was an amazing experience. In 2007 I climbed the Grand Teton (13,775ft – 4,199m) located in Teton National Park outside Jackson, WY.

Summited in January 2006. The highest peak in Africa, 19,370 ft. Climbed in 2002. Mt McKinley (“Denali”). Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the Americas at 6,960.8 m. It is located in the Andes mountain range, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, and the Chilean province of Aconcagua.
