Monday, June 29, 2009. Last night, Garth and I went to " The Fire. A cool program that my church puts on once a month. The music is loud and the atmosphere is casual. The speakers are not pastors, but rather just regular folks sharing their ideas about God and faith. Last night, the theme was "rock star evangelism" and was based on the band, U2. We also sang "I will follow", which I have previously sung a million times but somehow didn't realize that the lyrics were referring to his faith. Radio station ...

Click'in Around: April 2009

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Back to normal - FINALLY! After several weeks of craziness, we finally have our house (mostly) back to normal. It's taken a lot of patience and a lot of work. Here are some final pictures of the process. Once the painting was done, it was finally time to get the floors in. Our contractor started in the kitchen, so everything had to go into the living room. We had all of our furniture put in a P.O.D., but we left the appliances in the house. And, here's the finished tile - hooray!

Thursday, March 19, 2009. Water, water everywhere. I was supposed to be meeting my friend, Katie, to celebrate St. Patty's Day. Instead, she rushed over to help me survey the damage and start moving things. Garth's parents arrived with shop vac in tow and thanks to them, we got all of the water up. There was so much water that it filled the shop vac three times. The water is gone, but there is some serious damage to our floors. Below are a few pictures of the damage, though it's a bit hard to see. For so...

Click'in Around: November 2008
http://clickinaround.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 9, 2008. Today, a group of people from our church went to Arrington Vineyards for a picnic. This was a great idea when we planned this a month ago when it was 70 degrees outside. Even last weekend, we had that temperature. Today, was a mere 45 degrees! Luckily, the deck was enclosed and we didn't freeze too badly. All in all, it was a good time despite the cold weather. Ryan, Kim and Brian in the tasting room. Dave and Erin in the tasting room. Wasn't the raspberry wine SOOOOO good?

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. My roommate from freshman year in college and fellow 6-Pak member, Virginia Goodin (aka VGEG), came to Nashville for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. While she was in town, we were able to get together for dinner at Cabana. One of our favorite places in town. We had fun catching up! Here's Garth with John Douglas, Virginia's fiance. We're excited to head to Charleston, Mo., for their wedding in August! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Who are those crazy Clicks? View my complete profile.

Click'in Around: Walkin' in Memphis
http://clickinaround.blogspot.com/2009/07/walkin-in-memphis.html
Monday, July 20, 2009. Last month, I was in Memphis for the Tennessee Judicial Conference, which is the annual conference for the state's trial court judges. It was great to finally meet many of the folks I talk to on the phone every day! One of the evenings, we went to the National Ornamental Metal Museum. It was hotter than blazes that night, but we had a fantastic view of the Mississippi River. I snapped a couple of photos from my phone and thought the were worth sharing. Who are those crazy Clicks?
