Tuesday, February 24, 2009. This is some what how our grandson acts. He does a lot of the hand flapping motion and gets all excited. Sometimes he gets so excited it's next to impossible to calm him down. This is another of what he is like. Keep in mind, C. is 7 and does the same behaviors, hands in the mouth, always wiping/picking his nose, hands going, stomping his feet, goes from smiling to whining in a split second, druels a lot. I will go on record as saying that I did not do it because a bunch of politicians could not sit still during the President’s speech last week and began to tweet all over the place. I did it because it seems that those in education who want to remain connected seem to be doing it. Which brings me to my fear. Do we always have to be connected in so overt a way? You connect with by-gone souls through litera...

The Musings of a Wandering Spirit. Random thoughts, links to goodies I've found, and a general log of the stuff that makes me, me. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Fresh Starts and Cautious Optimism. And so I'm faced with a choice. We all are. How much do we remember? How much do we forget? It's fresh wisdom, but wisdom nonetheless. Until the trust is restored, it would be foolish to have anything less or anything more. How much will I forget? This will depend on how much I can. Forget and still meet the goal.
