He doesn’t tour very often, and this show was at an awesome little dive called Layla’s Bluegrass Inn. And was free to the first 100 or so people who showed up (bar’s max capacity). Wednesday, May 13, 2009. 3 days to go. Ummoops again on not updating the blog. Just saw that I barely squeaked out an A- in my Accel A and P class.sweet! That's definitely the news I was hoping for. So today is my last day at work until the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Which is sweet! Then I come back for 4 days, tie up loose ends, and embark on the journey that will be the next 15 months of my life. Big changes, people. Big changes. Anyway, can't wait to see many of you this weekend and catch up.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. To give you a better idea about my program, it's 80 students (actually I think we lost 1 in week 4, so 79) who are all pursuing nursing as a second career. Everyone in the program has at least one 4-year degree. I kind of assumed everyone would be like me, coming from a job of 5 years, totally starting over, etc. I knew a few students going in from my pre-requisite courses. Friday, April 17, 2009. It's the final countdown (cue synthesizer). Is so rad, isn't it? Anyway, it's Friday, which is GREAT. Today is my boss's last day - it's bittersweet because she's the bom dot com so I'm sad, but I'm totally stoked that she's found a great new position, especially in this economy. She is so sweet and kind. A few weeks ago, she asked me when I became a mommy. I told her it was on the day she was born. We played outside and split a small cake for dessert. Perfect day. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. 2 year old checkup. Hailey did a great job at her 2-year-old checkup, despite her mom scheduling it during nap time. The doctor was happy with her verbal and motor skills. She really loved that she was already potty trained. Hailey is 24 lbs, 8 oz and 33" tall. Currently her favorite book is Goodnight, Moon - which we read to her every night before singing Coming Round the Mountain. Doug is good for eight verses, I'm usually tapped out with four.
