Reflections of a Pilgrim: MUSIC - FOOD FOR THE SOUL
http://ekta57.blogspot.com/2009/07/music-food-for-soul.html
Reflections of a Pilgrim. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. MUSIC - FOOD FOR THE SOUL. I was listening to a Ghazal by Hariharan -‘JHOOM LE’ a beautiful ghazal from the Ghazal Album Kaash. Hariharan’s soulful music never fails to amaze me. I am not so familiar with Ghazals , but this one surely makes me feel the peace and tranquility. Musical notes dance if we can watch them. What wonder to be mesmerized by music and her greatest gift, her musicians! What astounding creators they are! MUSIC - FOOD FOR THE SOUL.

Reflections of a Pilgrim: May 2009
http://ekta57.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Reflections of a Pilgrim. Friday, May 22, 2009. The Silence Surrounding Sri Lanka. With all the technologies of this century the world is still primitive in its dealing with another human being. Looking around we come to understand that we have not changed at all. We are still behaving like we are in the stone ages. The only difference being that instead of using hand made weapons to fight our opponents we are now using the latest weapons of destruction as though it is a video game. Meanwhile, there are ...

Reflections of a Pilgrim: November 2008
http://ekta57.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Reflections of a Pilgrim. Saturday, November 29, 2008. I dedicate this video to the Indians who were, are and will always be resilient in the face of times of adversity. I condemn the terrorist attacks in Mumbai as a cowardly act of a people who are full of hate and fear. These are elements who are unable to tolerate the success of the Indians. They fail to understand that greatness of a people comes from a heritage filled with a heart full of compassion, tolerance and wisdom. Thursday, November 20, 2008.

Look, there is a gorgeous red-head standing by the side of the road. She has on a blue dress that doesn't cover much. I wonder if she realizes how low cut the bodes is? I can almost she her, oh, never mind. I will pick her up and make her the runaway mistress of the local drug lord. The other thing I need to get across country is gas. I have to fuel up to keep g...

Musings by the Bay…and Really Anywhere Else. When The Dust Settles. August 17, 2015. A month goes by quickly and I’ve experienced so much these past weeks that I have been unable to bring myself to write a public post. musingsbythehairslave | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. February 5, 2015. In high school I had a perm. It was the ’80s, what can I say? It looked good on me, my hair takes a perm well, and it doesn’t relax much. It always felt natural. In fact, when a free haircut went bad and the novice haircutter snipped all my curls away my senior year, many people commented that they always thought it was natural. Pretty hot for the eighties! So I ignored Bully Girl, and the others who laughed with her, but the damage was done. From th...

Musings by the Morgans. Friday, February 3, 2012. October 2011 - better late than never! I beyond love fall! The weather cools off a bit, the leaves start to change, and there are soooo many wonderfully fun things to do holiday-wise - especially now that Clay is in the picture. So buckle up for lots of cuteness, and pumpkins, and my favorite cute pumpkin (that would be Clay, folks)! Playing with sidewalk chalk. That is pretty cool because I am pretty sure he was still in his baby Bjorn last year! We were...

Musings by the windoW | Uncomplicating a little bit. Every day.
Musings by the windoW. Uncomplicating a little bit. Every day. Detained by chance. Unbroken by choice. July 29, 2015. July 30, 2015. The following is a true story that occurred with me between July 10th and 13th, 2015. On my arrival in the United States, for a holiday, I was interrogated, detained, and sent back to India. Close to 30 hours at 3 airports and a total of 42 hours on 4 flights, and here I am, ready to share. Everything written here is true to my knowledge, but I have taken the liberty to.
Musings of a wanderer
Musings of a wanderer. I am not here to make a difference. Instead, I would sum it up for you. So that it is easy to tread. Knowing what I went through. Saturday, January 13, 2018. In the right light. I read something that nudges me. To look outside the window. Or imagine somewhere other than now. I think about the infinity of things. And the endless horizon of possibilities. I imagine the chains that they are all bound by. I feel the chain of events reaching me. And wetting my feet with experience.
