musings of the bunny: Playing with Polymer Clay

http://www.musingsofthebunny.blogspot.com/2012/04/playing-with-polymer-clay.html

Tuesday, 10 April 2012. Playing with Polymer Clay. The long Easter weekend went by so quickly. I didn't do much though, apart from experimenting with a new material for jewelry. I've recently got introduced to polymer clay and went down to the local craft store to get my hands on some Fimo Soft. It took awhile for me to get the hang of slicing the clay to create a faceted surface, but I absolutely love how it looks. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. musings of the bunny: UWA Guild Market Days

http://www.musingsofthebunny.blogspot.com/2012/03/stayed-up-till-3am-preparing-for-todays.html

Tuesday, 27 March 2012. UWA Guild Market Days. Stayed up till 3am preparing for today's UWA Guild Market Days, making extra stock and conceptualising the pin board table layout. The hard work certainly paid off. :) It's the first flea market event for the bunny. And it went a lot better than I expected. Received lots of compliments from passersby and students asking when I'll be back again. Definitely looking forward to attend the next one when work permits. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

musings of the bunny: Explore. Dream. Discover.

http://www.musingsofthebunny.blogspot.com/2012/03/explore-dream-discover.html

Friday, 30 March 2012. Explore. Dream. Discover. My job in a Swedish stationery store allows me to be constantly inspired and motivates me to be creative. I gave my husband a book from the store filled with inspirational quotes with lovely photography and typography. Here's one of my favourite quotes from the book by Mark Twain. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour.

dance with me: the country where the happiness is in the air.

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-country-where-happiness-is-in-air.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Monday, June 10, 2013. The country where the happiness is in the air. We arrived on a boat. They chopped our passports and we entered the country where all things beautiful laid in front of us. I swear you smell the happiness the moment the boat docks. The buildings lay in a neat arty structure and it seems that everyone would rather cycle then drive. We all live with the objective of being happy; our lives are all different and yet the same. dance with me: ne me tuez pas

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/07/ne-me-tuez-pas.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Monday, June 17, 2013. Ne me tuez pas. We arrived promptly at Nancy via Mamado. He carpooled us from Paris to Nancy and we were grateful. It was the first official day of Summer and the light show was the first thing we went to watch. It was amazing. I can't imagine how much planning was put into it. I hear it's different every year and every year, 1000s of people from Nancy show up at the square in the middle of town to watch it. Location: Nancy, France.

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/07/between-french-and-germans.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Between the French and the Germans. Marillions mum drove us all the way to Strasbourg. It was about an hour drive from where they stayed; from where we stayed the night before. The night before, we had a great home cooked meal and were put to bed in Marillions childhood bedroom. We swam in her little pool overlooking the beautiful mountains. I can't imagine growing up in a house like that. It had to be amazing. The Alsace buildings have a great...

dance with me: Sipadan - diving trip

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/08/sipadan-diving-trip.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Saturday, August 3, 2013. Sipadan - diving trip. It was quite a last minute decision but we got a ticket via Air Asia to Tawau and found ourselves in a little town area. stay a night or go directly to the islands it's really up to you but we chose to spend a night and had luxuriously spent on a nice air conditioned room. I had always hated sleeping with the AC but it's a hot little island and the cold room was welcoming after walking around in the heat all day.

dance with me: The city of loooove?

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-city-of-loooove.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Thursday, June 13, 2013. The city of loooove? I didn't really enjoy Paris much. I did not small any of that bullshit in the air. I did smell an overwhelming smell of piss almost everywhere I went. There was also a horrible sense of being lonely and lost in a huge city was more like it. Perhaps because I didn't speak the language? I usually love my ice cream fruity but i also fell in love with the hazelnut one. Location: Paris, France. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

dance with me: London

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/07/london.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Saturday, June 8, 2013. Matt was lovely. His home was simple and his room was pretty organized; for a boy. We laughed, we ate and when it was time to leave, we left with heavy hearts. London is as interesting as it can get. The famous Mr Ben and the LONDON EYE, the UK guards in their handsome attires and the good old Buckingham Palace. We checked them off our list one by one all in a day. We caught a group of people riding for World Naked Bike Ride. Beauty of it all.

dance with me: wo ist das bier

http://dancingbreadcrumbs.blogspot.com/2013/07/wo-ist-das-bier.html

The chronicles of one clumsy human). Monday, July 29, 2013. Wo ist das bier. We arrived by train and drove just a little away from Muchein. After that, it was pretty much, swimming in the lakes and late night drinking after the sun goes down. BBQ and a whole lot of meat. I tried the famous german sausages. They didn't disappoint but they tasted just like sausages should i suppose. I'm not quite sure what the fuss is all about. German beer on the other hand, opened a whole new world for me.

musings of the big red hen

Musings of the big red hen. Friday, 1 November 2013. Hi ho, Hi ho. It was preparing me to take a BIG dose of medicine. I recently had a late-night, wine-fuelled conversation with a friend, in which I said some things that were really hurtful to her. I didn't say mean things, but I spewed out some nonsense that was really unsupportive of her life choices (which you can read about here. The truth about me, is that sometimes I don't, sometimes, I judge - ugly, but true. Since I'm being brutally honest here,...

Musings of the Bleary Eyed | Pondering a life both sleep deprived & blessed

Musings of the Bleary Eyed. Pondering a life both sleep deprived and blessed. December 22, 2013. Here I sit, basking in the glow of the Christmas tree lights on a quiet early morning. The kiddos are still abed, the Hero has left for work, and a bird is singing outside the window. It is 4 days until Christmas and as I enjoy my coffee and breathe a sigh of relief at having finished the Christmas shopping, I begin to muse…. Joy and Hope and Peace. Posted by drothfeld under Goddess Review. Honestly, I wasn’t all that enthused about the plot when I read the book jacket at first but decided to read it because she truly has the gift of storytelling which was so apparent in her first novel. So what was the verdict? Did I like it as much as her first novel?

Musings of the Everyday Life

Musings of the Everyday Life. Monday, August 8, 2011. As I walked to the 7-Eleven in this ungodly heat, I passed by an assumably homeless man standing by the pay phone. He did not say anything to me as I pushed the stroller past him to the Redbox machine. I needed to return the movie we had kept one day longer than planned. As I walk past the man again to leave, he muttered, "Spare a quarter? I pretended not to hear him. As I walked home, I thought. Yesterday, my eyes began to ache. It must be allerg...
