Community Assistance Program--Activities

We provide emergency assistance in several key areas to Moreno Valley residents:. Food and Clothing Assistance. We provide food and clothing to families in need six times in a twelve month period. We have recently joined the Transportation Access Program (TAP) which provides us with RTA bus tickets to assist those in need to get to doctor appointments, employment interviews, and school. CAP refers clients to other local agencies for housing and emergency shelter and other services as needed.

One way you can help your community and CAP is by donating food items and supplies. Please help CAP keep our shelves stocked for our needy friends and neighbors. Below is a current list of needed items. Please note that due to health department regulations, all food items must be in factory sealed packages and we suggest individual sizes on some items. Mac 'N' Cheese (individual). Rice (1 lb. bag). Pork n' Beans (small). Tomato sauce (small can). Sandwich meats (1 lb. pkg). Hotdogs (1 lb. pkg).
