Tuesday, October 11, 2011. A new musical at MWE. October 7, 2011. Parents of Fourth Graders. Mrs Blair, Music Teacher. This year the Fourth grade class will be the first class to perform on the NEW stage, and I have decided to grace our NEW stage with a NEW musical for Meadow Wood. The musical is called Schoolhouse Rock Live! And it contains songs about math, reading, writing, science and social studies. The performances are on January 30. At 1:00pm for the school and January 31. At 6:30pm for the parents.

Friday, June 25, 2010. I attended the district staff development for the I-pod touch on Tuesday, June 22nd. I had no idea there were so many apps out there. There is an app for just about anything you would ever need or want to do. Creating apps must be a very lucrative business. Now I want an I-phone or an I-pod touch of my own! Monday, May 24, 2010. Tool #1 - New to blogging. I could see myself using a blog like this to keep in touch with my students' parents about upcoming concerts and music events at the school. I could also post pictures of concerts and events that are finished. In the classroom, I could have students create videos to post on the blog. The Wiki page can be used to post current assignments, tests and the newsletter. I can also link the parents to more resources they can use at home with their children.
