Dienstag, 11. Mai 2010. World Hang Gliding Championship. From 8.- 22.Mai 2010 are the World Championship at Tegelberg - Schwangau. Since the competition started there was no chance for the pilotes to fly. On the first day it was rainy and on the second day the Foehn cancelet the task. Just the Swifts flew a small task. First in Goal was Manfred Ruhmer , 2. Bob Baier and 3. Steve Cox. And so many lovely people are here again. Zhenya , Bubu , Julia , Theo, Gerolf, Jamie and many many more. I've been to 19.

Dienstag, 2. Juni 2015. Kitty Hawk - Outer Banks. After a long trip we finally arrived at around 6 p.m at the airport in Norfolk where Jim already waited to pick us up! Taken by Jim at Quest. Two more hours drive and we got to Kill Devils Hills where we just checked in at Cavalier and felt asleep. This way we got up before sunrise and enjoyed it at the beach . So we went back to the dunes to see if its flyable there. We also got some flights in the Dragonfly. Rhythm of flight visited the Cotton Gin.

Monday, August 4, 2014. Ron and I have been trying to get to Hemlock Lake for an overnight camp out for a while and the opportunity finally presented itself. John offered to drop us off at the north end and we paddled south to Stoney Beach. It threatened thunder storms off and on all evening but although it rained most of the night it never got severe. Monday, June 17, 2013. Tim is flyin' high. Tim Lewis is a success story, He wanted to learn to fly. But first he had to lose a lot of weight, basically an extra person. He found the motivation to do this by dreaming of hang gliding. It worked. He lost the weight, he built his endurance and enrolled in lessons.
