Rolling on the Liver.: August 2007
http://rollingontheliver.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Rolling on the Liver. Thursday, August 30, 2007. My Industries of Restaurant and Religion. So I picked up this book the other day and oh my goodness, this guy is whacko. You might want to save yourself and log outta here right now. Or you could follow me into the walk in cooler and I'll tell you how "the restaurant industry" got me a gig in "the religion industry.". It started in high school when I gave up cheerleading. When I could enhance my teenage angst with self inflicted acne? Friends, I have just ...

Rolling on the Liver.: September 2007
http://rollingontheliver.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Rolling on the Liver. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. The Liver Blog is Retiring. You know what, Bob is right. It's time to put his liver away. Honestly, I think it wants to live a quiet life now and just do what it's supposed to do - be a little noticed vital organ that binds bile and filters poisons. No drama. No personality. So I've decided that it's time to stop with the liver shrine in thought, word, and deed. It's time to move and it's time to move on. For a daily dose of truth and reconciliation.

Rolling on the Liver. Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Duct Tape and the Liver Doc. Hello Friends. Thanks for coming over to the liver blog. It's nice to have you here and just imagine that we're chatting over a cup of coffee. Thought you'd like to see Amanda and her pile of duct tape, a Happy Gift from Grandma Mork, with whom Bob and I had lunch today while we were in Rochester for Bob's Liver appointment at the Mayo. With love, T. Posted by Terri Mork Speirs. Monday, February 26, 2007. And when that happens...

America's Young Theologian: October 2012

Book Thinking About Responsibility. The unceasing calls for responsibility in contemporary culture are always calls to such agency, to the position of a subject-cause. And this insistence as such deserves scrutiny. One might ask at the outset: What concept of responsibility does it seek to reinforce? What lack does it aim at supplementing? What shortcoming is it trying to compensate? What irresponsibility is it trying to suppress, exclude or negate? From what danger does it aim at protecting it? Economic...

Rolling on the Liver.: Which way is up?
http://rollingontheliver.blogspot.com/2007/09/which-way-is-up.html
Rolling on the Liver. Friday, September 21, 2007. Which way is up? I do not know the answer to that question. We're moving. All is good. All is great. But there are some really big questions that I cannot answer. Like, where should we get home owner's insurance? Where will my kids go to school? When will they start? Who will enroll them? How do you get to the airport? Is there mold in our new bathrooms? We watch slides on South Africa, its vineyards, and Robben Island. And you should see how much Amanda ...

Rants, wanderings and tales of a sojourner. I don’t have class until February! This extra time translates to more time for seeing the awesome friends and family around the Columbus area. Recently I’ve noticed a trend. The three women I’m closest to, Mom, Grandma and Mel are constantly giving Aaron the ‘I’m sorry’ comments or look. Why the looks of sympathy for Aaron? Here are the photo highlights of Christmas. 3Bryon’s gift from Santa. 6The Wernicke great grandgirls. 7Christmas Day at Mom’s. 9Freezing fo...
