Curious. Rich. Engaging. Documentation of my learning along side children and other educators. Learning Stories and Documentation Pieces. Twitter: More than Just “What’s Happening”. Has very quickly become one of the most common tools I use in my everyday life. Why? To connect. To share. To inspire others and learn about others who inspire me with their provocations, thoughts, and questions about children and education. Twitter’s 140 character limit keeps messages straightforward and to the point. A prov...

Laura's Little Learning Lab: Speedy Jones Turbo (& Friends)
http://lauraslittlelearninglab.blogspot.com/2014/09/speedy-jones-turbo-friends.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. Speedy Jones Turbo (& Friends). Our school district has a "no fur or feathers" policy when it comes to classroom pets, or even visiting animals. While I understand the rationale behind this policy, it does limit the options we have for bringing live animals into the classroom. The children were able to get a close look at the snail (although it was holed up in its shell the whole time). We decided to bring the snail back to school with us and make it our classroom pet. Miss Mo...

The Daily Cupcake.a Kindergarten Blog. A sprinkling of fun and inspiration from one Kindergarten teacher to another. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Not rushing to have all of our Daily 5 routines in place by the second week of school. Not rushing with learning how to read by November.you get my point. It just flowed this ...
