It has been a long, long time since I have participated in one of there challenges. I used a cupcake embossing folder over the designer papers and then the Happy Birthday embossing folder just on the top part of the card. I made him into a shaped card, I think I should have gave him a bit of a footing on the bottom, due to him having a bit of a lean when I stand him up by himself, but I will know for next time. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Simple Birthday Card for 6 year old Erica. Very quick birthday card. last minute as usual. I'd wanted to make a Hannah Montana card as we got her a HM doll but I 90% of my craft room is still in storage so I didn't have the right papers. I'm happy with how it turned out but I think it's a little bit too heavy on the left side with embellishments. I'm sure a 6 year old isn't going to notice though! Kaiser Patterned paper, bling and flowers. Alphalicious Cricut Cartridge for "6".

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Happy Birthday to ME! My parents so lovingly gave me airfares to the East coast of Australia, Queensland to visit my Cricut MB friend FiFi. Mum's stuck with my monster children for a whole week. she'll need a holiday by the end of the week! But it's the BEST birthday present EVER! In a few weeks. we are making these cute Easter Bunny baskets and filling them with decorated plastic eggs ready to be filled with candy! I was going to make a card with a favourite stamped image, but I messed up my first attempt and then spilled my blending solution, so I whipped up this simple card on the iPad Design Space app for the Cricut Explore. I sliced the ampersand out of the Kraft cardstock and inlaid the white cardstock to leave the card smooth for the names to sit flat on the finished card. Friday, December 25, 2009. How I made my Gypsy Stylus Charms. I've been getting requests to show how I made the Charm for my Gypsy Stylus. This is my first ever beading project so I have no idea of the technical terms. I'll do my best to explain. Pre-made lanyard string (I found a pack of 10 at a bead store or at a hobby store in the bead section). A piece of wire with a looped end (I bought them like this but you could make one). A jump ring (circle of wire that's not closed). Selection of pretty beads.

Here's a burgundy and gold themed card for the Bride's mother. she specifically asked for it to say "To our Daughter and Son-in-law". Bling is from Kaiser, Flowers are from Prima, Patterned paper is Bo Bunny. Tag is from Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge at 2".

Today I have made for you something that I think would be wonderful to use at those summer picnics, birthday parties and bridal and baby showers. Personalization of drinking cups/glasses is one of the few ways to cut down on the expense of lost/thrown-away paper and plastic cups. We all know the Sharpie pairs well with the Solo Cup,.
