Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Want it Wednesday: Garmin Edge 800. This week's Want it Wednesday. The course was crazy sandy in spots but it was beautiful. I was just over an hour off my worse time but that wasn’t really the point of the ride. I rode for the pure enjoyment of riding. The Garmin helped. October 24, 2012 at 9:02 AM. Good post Neil, it made me laugh, particularly in you idea of beating his lap time Yamaha! What do you think? October 24, 2012 at 9:13 AM. October 24, 2012 at 9:51 AM.

It will be epic, one way or another. I can't. I have to hav...

Riding with discipline and patience will result in success! Upcoming Bicycle Rides for 2012. Sunday, January 22, 2012. MehI didn't ride at all last week. :(. 1) I think I had the beginnings of an ingrown hair in my arm pit and I shaved and it became grossly infected. Talk about a huge bump and extremely painful! 2) I moved my Dad back to Greenville, SC on Monday (1/16) and was down there until Wednesday of last week. But, I did put in my Tough Love Spinervals dvd before lunch today and managed to stick w...

Saturday, October 27, 2012. Single Speed World Championship. They didn't have awards, exactly, but they gave away pint glasses to the first 48 finishers. There were about a hundred racers and free beer so there was a lot of incentive to finish above the median. Finishing above the median is always my goal and the pint glass just added to my resolve. This very well may be the best race ever. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Want it Wednesday: Garmin Edge 800. This week's Want it Wednesday. For work, again....

Tag Archives: double century. Devil Mountain Double ride report part one: Mines Road. May 20, 2013. The riders were off and after about 30 seconds of riding in the pitch black surrounded by other slightly sketchy double riders, my mood lifted and I became happy again. I am usually quite happy on these rides. (unless I am at a rest stop- Rest stops make me cranky.). The Devil Mountain Double. I loved all the cheering and encouragement I got from other people all day. Not only did the Mount Hamilton pe...
