Speaking of, she recently did a cover of Little Big Town's song "Girl Crush" and it's amazing. Every time I see her play it makes me want to take my guitar out. Then I get frustrated because I will never be as good as she is. Maybe my New Years Resolution will be to learn to play my guitar that I've owned for 9 years. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Long Awaited "Margarita Cupcakes". For Cinco de Mayo. 9 oz Margarita mix (non-frozen kind). 1 box yellow cake mix. 2 Tbsp vegetable oil. 1 Tbsp lime zest. Mix together the margarita mix and tequila. Use 1 and 1/4 cup of this in the cupcake mix and pour the rest over ice for a mini-rita while you're baking! With an electric mixer, add the cake mix, egg whites, vegetable oil, lime zest and margarita. Mixture and mix on low until no lumps are left. Oven and let cool completely.

Sunday, December 2, 2012. Its beginning to look alot like Christmas! I know this snow is from a few weeks ago, but it fit my theme of beginning to look like Christmas. This was really the first big snow we have gotten, and I loved it! My apartment has become Christmas central! Starting the day after Thanksgiving, I have been decorating quite a bit. But I love it! I kind of have alot put into my little apartment, but it makes it feel very cozy in here. Its great! This is the top of my entertainment center.
