Monday, August 29, 2011. We are surviving here at home. Gary was on night duty last night for the first night home, and it was a bit of a rough one. Alex didn't sleep very well at all. He was fussing with his oxygen, wanting drink after drink and just not resting well at all. Gary was so sweet and let me sleep the whole night. It felt great to get 7 hours of sleep all in a row! Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Wow how time flies! Ok, so I realize that I have not posted anything in almost 2 months. I am back to being a blogging loser. I will try to do a quick recap of the last 2 months and what's been going on here. Yesterday Alex had his check-up with Dr. Puchalski (his cardiologist) at Primary Childrens. Can you believe that tomorrow (Wed 26th) marks 9 weeks since Alex had his surgery, yeah, neither can I! Since surgery. This kid is a rockstar! He is such an amazing little boy!

Monday, June 28, 2010. I'm sad that I can't be with these girls at camp. Something about rules and nursing moms. I say hogwash! I wish I could be with them. And these crazies left us for a week. We play with them EVERY day. My kids are lost and don't know what to do without them. And I might be a bit lost myself without their mom :). But not to worry, because these who-haws are coming to visit. We love them so much and hopefully we'll catch some of these with them:. Have a great week y'all! Awe, so sweet!

The kidd family four. Guy, erin, parker, and liam. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Pumpkin Patch 2.0. As it turns out, our pumpkins weren't as great as we thought. We always get our pumpkins the weekend before Halloween and then carve them the night before. Monday morning I decided to check on them and discovered that 2 of had gone rotten. I contacted the owners of the pumpkin patch and they said we could bring them back for an exchange. Good thing! I'm thinking this will be our Christmas card. Going throug...

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. I just realized that I hadn't been on the computer all day, and hadn't posted anything about Alex's appointment today. Sorry for those who have checked and found nothing! He woke up SUPER. He did not want to go to the hospital for his x-ray (can you blame him? It was really nice to see him go today and not poop out. I am amazed at the continued support and outpouring of love from all of those around us. Just when I think nobody can do more to help us, someone else shows up...
