MY HOCKEY CARD OBSESSION: 1 vs. 100 - A Lasting Impression
http://myhockeycardobsession.blogspot.com/2015/07/1-vs-100-lasting-impression.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2015. 1 vs 100 - A Lasting Impression. I've had a few people ask to see all one hundred of my '1 vs. 100' cards all in one fell swoop. It's neat to see all of them and go through them putting this together. I forgot about some of the great stories or quirky incidents that occurred over the six years of building it. Ray Ferraro - back to back (you'll have to find them). David Aebischer - a pair of real low offerings. Mark Messier - at #3.Ugh! This project is officially put to bed. Wantli...
MY HOCKEY CARD OBSESSION: 1 vs. 100 - It's Celebration Time
http://myhockeycardobsession.blogspot.com/2015/06/1-vs-100-its-celebration-time.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. 1 vs 100 - It's Celebration Time. It's been a busy June for me (as always when it comes to work). I've been on a semi-hiatus from the hobby.but not quite like last year. I've dipped my toes into the pool a few times, mostly only to take them out after a couple minutes. No deep end dives (although the thought had crossed my mind on one occasion). What June has brought me though is a couple of very significant milestones. That's right.'1 vs. 100' is complete. The final c...This Patr...
MY HOCKEY CARD OBSESSION: CUSTOM CREATIONS - Dirty Circus
http://myhockeycardobsession.blogspot.com/2015/07/custom-creations-dirty-circus.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. CUSTOM CREATIONS - Dirty Circus. Today was the final day of our outdoor tournament season where I work. What does that mean? Well, I won't be working long hours for many days in a row anymore. It'll be back to some level of normalcy.and I am so glad it's here. The second is a blog post. From custom card creator Bad Wax. In a nutshell, it's a call out to custom creators to collaborate on a vintage set - from scratch. The first "task" was to come up with a product and brand name....
MY HOCKEY CARD OBSESSION: LINDEN CARD OF THE WEEK - And So It Begins
http://myhockeycardobsession.blogspot.com/2015/08/linden-card-of-week-and-so-it-begins.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. LINDEN CARD OF THE WEEK - And So It Begins. It's official.I'm buying cards again. Woo-hoo! I don't know if that warrants any sort of celebration, but I'm happy to be back participating in the hobby again after a bit of a lull (self imposed). I went to the monthly trade night last night and it was slim on the turnout. But that's ok, chit-chatting with the few that were there got me re-energized about collecting. Unfortunately, I participated in some poor, poor purchasing choices.
MY HOCKEY CARD OBSESSION: LINDEN CARD(s) OF THE WEEK - A Pair With Some Pop
http://myhockeycardobsession.blogspot.com/2015/05/linden-cards-of-week-pair-with-some-pop.html
Saturday, May 16, 2015. LINDEN CARD(s) OF THE WEEK - A Pair With Some Pop. About a month ago I was observing. Some of the new Linden offerings in Upper Deck Ice. Specifically the Glacial Graphs trio of cards. I was quite excited to start the chase for these three autos. After all.they're clear plastic so they must demand a premium. What started as an exciting adventure quickly turned into a sit-and-wait game. I've become a patient man in my old age. I can wait (most of the time). So I continued to wait.

Cardboard on Ice: Bob Turner's Fistful of Stanley Cups
http://cardboardonice.blogspot.com/2015/08/bob-turners-fistful-of-stanley-cups.html
Searching, collecting and coveting hockey cards. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Bob Turner's Fistful of Stanley Cups. Bob Turner walked on to the Montreal Canadiens midway through the 1955-56 season just in time to be part of their record-setting run of five straight Stanley Cups from 1956 to 1960. Turner's #40 card from the 1958-59 Parkhurst issue cost me $6:. After his retirement, Turner coached his hometown Regina Pats for 10 years and won the Memorial Cup in 1974. Lenny's Hockey Autographs: Jochen Hecht
http://lennysautos.blogspot.com/2010/09/jochen-hecht.html
Your leading source for autographed sports memorabilia. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. I purchased this at my first hockey game, in Buffalo, in 2004. Hecht is one of Germany's best players ever. He really hasn't had that special of a career. If there was a table of autos, you wouldn't be able to know which one is Hecht's, so it's not written great, but he's German so give him a break.
