And here's one of the girls watching the new season of Little House on the Prairie that Gramma sent them for Christmas. They are huge fans! Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Dance Mardi Gras 2015. So Noah, Micah and I drove to New Orleans on Thursday afternoon for Noah's second - and Micah's first- competition this year. On Friday morning, Micah put two dances on the floor: waltz and two step. He warmed up, took a little nap on a row of chairs and then woke up and managed to pull a gold in waltz and a gold with honors in two step, which is really good anyway, but especially for a first comp! Thursday, May 21, 2015. I think this is the first vacation we've ALL been on together in 10 years. 10 years ago, my parents had 8 grandsons and not a granddaughter to be seen. We're up to 5-going-on-6 girls now and one more little boy has joined the family, which brings us to a grand total of 25. It was a fun week! Can't wait to do it again! Thursday, May 21, 2015. Thursday, June 25, 2015. Summer fun- trip to the zoo. I bought a zoo membership since Esa is old enough to enjoy it this year. We had one when KK was little and she loved it! Still does;). I took the girls and we made a half day of it. We didn't rush and we left when the littles got crabby. That's the nice thing about having a membership. You can always come back:). Here are a few pics. The girl's reflection in the snapping turtle tank. He was fishing. Watching the elephants tussle. Links to this post.

Monday, June 1, 2015. Okay Now for the update on the guys. Solomon is your average, rather wild 12 year old. He is full of mischief and crazy antics and his laugh is extremely contagious. If he laughs, I laugh.even if I'm getting ready to wring his neck! He will be competing at his first event in New Orleans next month and that's when we'll get a good idea of what his competition for Worlds will be like.
