My Indian Travel Diary

My Indian Travel Diary. This blog is an account of my various travel experiences in India. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. The British had divided the fort and the area around as "White Town" where much of the Europeans lived and the area beyond as "Black Town" where the locals (Indians) lived. A classic example of racism practised by them during those times. Another blog post of mine describes the famous Savandurga fort. My Indian Travel Diary: Dilwara Temples - the Hidden Jewel of India

http://www.myindiantraveldiary.blogspot.com/2012/07/dilwara-temples-hidden-jewels-of-india.html

My Indian Travel Diary. This blog is an account of my various travel experiences in India. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Dilwara Temples - the Hidden Jewel of India. According to me, the most beautiful architecture in Rajasthan (and in the Universe! Even the beautiful Taj Mahal falls a touch short when compared with this) is the historic Dilwara Temples, a set of 5 magnificent Jain Temples whose beauty cannot be described in mere words. The temples are as follows :-. Mahavir Swami, dedicated to the last Jain ...

My Indian Travel Diary. This blog is an account of my various travel experiences in India. Thursday, July 12, 2012. The view from the mountain was amazing. At a short distance we could see the river Arkavathi , along with the hills of Ramanagaram (of the "Sholay" film fame) and further down we could see the skylines of Bangalore city. It was truly a sight to behold. Seen below is a pic of the river Arkavathi from the Karigudda. Shown below is the pic of the one such layer. Seems to have a resemblence...

http://myexperimentswithart.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

A canvas to unleash my creativity. Hello All once again! My next painting is on a homely Indian bride all dressed up in a richly coloured dress and gold jewellery carrying a plate of fruits and milk for her love. This also completes one wall of my home and here is the snapshot of the three paintings at once on the wall. See you soon. Till then. Happy Creativity! Links to this post. http://myexperimentswithart.blogspot.com/2010/01/rajasthani-girl.html

A canvas to unleash my creativity. The fully framed version. Will update more of such similiar paintings. I liked the color contrasts. May be the entire background could have been filled with yellow. February 28, 2010 at 7:41 AM. Thanks AlpsMan. I really liked the bright colour dresses worn by the Rajasthani women. Bright pink and bright green combo is more Rajasthani :). Please keep visiting :). Creativity Unleashed!!!: Candle Making

http://myexperimentswithart.blogspot.com/2010/05/candle-making.html

A canvas to unleash my creativity. Recently I tried making candles at home and succeeded quite well in the task! 1) Paraffin wax (Do not use any other wax). 2) Candle moulds for the shape of the candle. 4) A small stick (can be cut from broom stick as well). 2) Insert the wick into the wax and sharpen the end. 4) When the wax melts completely add the colour crayon of your choice and allow it to melt. See the below pic. See the home made candles below :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Creativity Unleashed!!!: September 2009

http://myexperimentswithart.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

A canvas to unleash my creativity. The process of revamping my home with painting had left many pieces of glasses. I utilized one such piece for creating this. I used one such left over glass for this painting of mine and framed it and placed it on the wall. So its one way to make use of left over glass :). Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Indian Trip
