The Ellora caves are situated on the Aurangabad -Chalisgaon road just 30kms north-west to the city of Aurangabad. These caves were named. In 1983 UNESCO recognized the group. We were all set for the famous desert safari. Eagerly waiting to be picked up from our hotel apartment lobby. And then came the gleaming white Toyota Land Cruiser. They generally pick up 6 passengers but we were only five and a half! After sitting impatiently and crossing the heavy traffic, it took us more than 45 minutes to finally hit the desert.

Long live rock and roll. These days I am quite excited. The reason is simple – Sofia Rocks Sonisphere 2010. This is the biggest festival ever held in Bulgaria. The bands lineup is really great. On the first day we will watch the biggest bands in the trash metal – Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and of course Metallica. So on the 29th May I headed back to New Zealand, after having to have one part of my flights changed due to early morning fog, I ended up leaving later in the day, with going from Townsville to Brisbane then Brisbane to Auckland followed by the next morning of the 30th instead of going straight to Dunedin on the 29th.
