Merseylink announced as Mersey Gateway Project preferred bidder. Merseylink has been announced as the preferred bidder for the Mersey Gateway Project. That will create 470 construction jobs and boost the building trades. Merseylink and Halton Borough Council. 470 permanent full-time equivalent jobs on site during construction. 4,640 permanent direct and indirect jobs.
