KSU Orvieto Program 2010 Blog. Easter Concert in the Duomo. April 8, 2010 by ksuorvieto2010. Many of us attended a concert the day after Easter in the Duomo in Orvieto. A symphony orchestra from Florence, with Zubin Mehta as conductor, played before a packed house. The concert was televised and the cathedral had special lighting for the event. A concert in the cathedral around Easter is an Orvieto tradition. Tagged Life in Orvieto. April 7, 2010 by ksuorvieto2010. April 3, 2010 by ksuorvieto2010. Last we...

Bus waiting to take us to Villa Lante in Bagnaia. The Great Moretti Bus Company. Let me tell you, these bus drivers can maneuver with the best of them, weaving through narrow medieval streets, around winding country hill roads, and parallel parking. Yes, I said parallel parking, they can parallel park these buses like none other. Entry to Villa Lante.

I was excited and loved the city, except being under the Tuscan Clouds. A look at the hillside. A stairway alley. There are a lot of these in Italy. They are oh so fun to climb up. Testing o...

With Pecorino In Hand I'm Off to the Countryside". Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Mercoledi, Aprile 14, 3.75 miles. Now that I've actually been back stateside for a couple months, I believe it's time I finish my blogging. A closeup of some algae. An old man contemplating the world. Old man looking for four leaf clovers. Trattoria Bar-...
