My Life is a Dog. Kea, the rest of the story. March 10, 2011, 1:05 pm. When I was 14, I took a summer job at a breeding and boarding kennel for Yellow Labs. It was one of my most memorable and favorite jobs ever. I had no formal education in dog training; I just knew I liked dogs an awful lot. I thought that would be enough. I just came to say hi. My Life is a Dog. Kea, the rest of the story. My Life is a Dog Prices. Meet and greet people and pets:. Hour, at least one week before event. Required prior to all services, no charge. 15 minutes; feed, let in or out, no walking = $15/event. Walking (no more than 2 dogs at a time):. 45 – 60 minutes = $20; 30 minutes = $15. I pet sit at your home, where your pets are most comfortable, and where they would return if they decided to wander. My fees include basic house-sitting. 1 2 pets = $50/day.
