BROUGHT TO LIFE: The Best of Brought To Life - 222
http://btltheblog.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-best-of-brought-to-life-222.html
Brought To Life was a labour of love, a series of 2,100 CD-Rs which ardently archived a plethora of Punk/Post-Punk/Hardcore/Powerpop/Mod/Ska and New Wave recordings from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. BTL the Blog shares the very best of those tracks with everyone out there with an unquenchable thirst for the rare (and not-so-rare) gems from a much loved but bygone era. Tuesday, 4 August 2015. The Best of Brought To Life - 222. 1 THE 222's - 'The First Studio Bomb'. Rebel 7" - Canada - 1978. Abrasive po...

Turntable Revolution: EYE ON EBAY----Who the hell would pay that?
http://turntablerevolution.blogspot.com/2011/07/eye-on-ebay-who-hell-would-pay-that.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. EYE ON EBAY- - Who the hell would pay that? Who The Hell Does Jane Smith Think She Is? Fetches a remarkable £122. Really astonishing as it isn't that hard to locate. Well I can only speak from my experience of finding the 12" in MVE for. 163;1 about three years ago. I also have the 7". I think this was their only release and it has sold for a lot less in the past. Http:/ cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? Labels: Who The Hell Does Jane Smith Think She Is? Turntable Revolution: EYE ON EBAY------Religious man gets the bill
http://turntablerevolution.blogspot.com/2011/04/eye-on-ebay-religious-man-gets-bill.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. EYE ON EBAY- - - Religious man gets the bill. Are we being misled here? The Monk Bought Lunch. Is apparently a C86 humdinger that ardent fans of indiepop must own. Three tracks,. Perhaps an answer record to the old Stones classic ) and. The Sailor's Tilted Hat. Some sort of secret homosexual code perhaps ) struck a jaunty chord with a few and so this independently released 7" from 1991 sold for £122. Http:/ cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? Turntable Revolution: A Chocolate Morning Is The Best Way To Start The Day
http://turntablerevolution.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-chocolate-morning-is-best-way-to.html
Tuesday, September 18, 2012. A Chocolate Morning Is The Best Way To Start The Day. A Chocolate Morning released two records, this 12" and a 7", which in my view has the stronger songs. They came from Glasgow, Scotland and had a distinct psychedelic tinge which is more to the fore on the 12" which was released in 1991. Rarely appearing on ebay this generated enough interest to propel it to a final price of £113. Pt=UK Records&hash=item3a792571c1#ht 1126wt 1165. Labels: A Chocolate Morning. TURNTABLE REVOL...

Turntable Revolution: EYE ON EBAY-----Compare and contrast
http://turntablerevolution.blogspot.com/2011/05/eye-on-ebay-compare-and-contrast.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. EYE ON EBAY- - -Compare and contrast. So finally after hope double-dashed a copy of On The Waterfront. An Essex band from the mid 80's, appears on ebay. I first acquainted myself with this elusive 12" in a charity shop about three years ago. Flicking through the usual morass of Mozart. Is Deflated I resorted to admitting that the cruel twists and tangos of farcical fate had conquered me. Http:/ cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? Labels: On The Waterfront. May 31, 2011 at 5:17 PM.

Turntable Revolution: EYE ON EBAY-----Expensive apprentice
http://turntablerevolution.blogspot.com/2011/05/eye-on-ebay-expensive-apprentice.html
Tuesday, May 3, 2011. EYE ON EBAY- - -Expensive apprentice. No idea where ebay seller Strike Up Matches sources his stuff from but it always attracts interest. Also wonder how much of it is really top notch C86 style indie. For instance The. Maybe as dire as Y Do I. Although Mr. Matches likens them to The Jeremiahs. And Where Gardens Fall. Which was enough to get two bidders attention. The single was released in 1989 and the titles were. See My Face/Dream Heaven Scene. Sold for £86. How many number 1's!

Friday, December 9, 2011. Johnny Solo can now afford to buy a boat. It's been a while since the Johnny Solo. Single has appeared on ebay or so I thought until I did a bit of research. It was on in July and sold for £5.99. Now a few months later it returns and sells for £110. The cheap one was listed under reggae/ska, this latest was in the punk/powerpop category. Did that make a difference? Alone In My Yellow. Http:/ www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180763804425? December 9, 2011 at 2:41 PM. December 9, 2011 at 3:49 PM.

Turntable Revolution: Three Little Piggies Went To Market And Made A Fortune
http://turntablerevolution.blogspot.com/2012/09/three-little-piggies-went-to-market-and.html
Friday, September 14, 2012. Three Little Piggies Went To Market And Made A Fortune. I fancied a punt on this but the spiraling cost kept my inner collector caged. I know nothing about Three Little Piggies but it seems some do as this single sold for a staggering £238. Http:/ www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200815542153?
