Unfortunately the 2 eldest, my elder brother and I have RP/Ushers. I started out in life needing to wear 2 hearing aids when I was 4 and having speech therapy and I started to wear glasses when I was about 10 years old. A few years later I was asked by my optician did I ever damage my eyes? Time went by and the dreaded day arrived.
