So let me tell you the significance of this photo. When we first arrived in the hospital – things were really really scary. And I saw this little car in the hallway – for the kids to ride and I told myself than – if we can get him to ride in the car – then he’ll be OK! So – when today, after an hour of walking, standing and playing in the play room, on our way back to the room – he got into the car and drove around the hall – things almost ended in tears for me! We have never been as thankful for this country as we are this year. If we were anywhere else – we would have to worry about scraping together money and travelling somewhere to find treatment… So many things that I constantly hear about people struggling with back across the ocean. But instead we can focus on being together and enjoying each day to the max. And that is the greatest gift! The freedom from worries. So thanks, America! Thank you for letting us enjoy bbq-ing in the back yard with papa!

Our adventures in Dorset. Another day of work for Mummy today. At least Leo managed to sleep through the night, woohoo! I love getting my updates throughout the day with how Leo has been getting on and what he’s been up to. Today’s message came through just after lunch to say that he absolutely loved whatever was in his sandwich.
